| Notes | was intended to be an homage to Adrian Lyne's 1983 movie Flashdance, but Paramount Pictures have seen it more as a straight lift. The studio has sent a legal notice to Sony, which owns Lopez's record label, Epic, saying that Lopez's dance moves in the video violated copyright. The video recreates many scenes from the film, which starred Jennifer Beals as a welder-by-day, stripper-by-night who was desperate to become a ballet dancer. Industy insiders said the legal notice was standard practice and that the matter would probably be settled amicably with a cash payment. |
